Threw away Xbox games!

All boxes from Xmas went out with recycling yesterday. DH has just realised the game codes were still in the Xbox box.
If we contact Xbox are they likely to help?

Just asked my DS17. He says it probably a case of tough luck, however contact Microsoft and explain the situation. They'll be able to see that you don't have the games downloaded.

He says that Microsoft support is pretty shabby though.

We have uploaded the one game he actually wanted onto the xbox luckily and the other I think were 12s which he won't be playing as DS is only 7 but I think it is thevalue that has annoyed DH.
I will see if microsft will help.

Contact the store u got the games from see if u can get a receipt? To prove to Microsoft u purchased the games. Did u purchase them with Ur Microsoft account?

May be a case of tough luck even if you have a receipt you cant prove you didnt download the game on a different xbox. Worth a call anyways.

We didn't have a code in our box. Phoned and they downloaded it for us. They can access your account remotely. Good luck!
