If your bathroom has a mixer tap, which direction is cold?

I’m 52 and tonight I noticed I NEVER remember which direction it is in my own current house until I cast my mind back to my family home of childhood 30 plus years ago, and then remember that my adult house is the opposite direction.

I genuinely stop and work it out EVERY. SINGLE,TIME.

Anyone else?

In one bathroom it's left and in another right here.. I have no idea why as it's the sink and tap are identical in both bathrooms!

Right is cold.

Left cold in my childhood, right cold as an adult. It blows my mind!
