Advice- Long Period!!

Hi, I have now been on my period for 18 days! I started my period on 10th December and my last period ended 25th November. I stopped taking the contraceptive pill approx over 2 months again. I can’t remember.
My partner and I had sex last on 27th November.
I have no other symptoms. A bit of abdominal pain last night but I wasn’t concerned. The Xmas dinner and pud could be responsible for that! Haha! Or could just be mild period pains.
Should I be concerned. Should I go see my GP or is this normal? My periods are usually fairly regular. Thanks ladies. Need advice and reassurance

Hi ladies. Looking for advice as worrying!
I’ve experienced a long period of now 20 days. I stopped taking the pill over 2 months ago and tried a cheap pregnancy test and it’s showing positive but I’m still bleeding. Have only been intimate last on 27th November with partner day after period ended and started period on 28th November. What’s going on?! Thanks

Continual bleeding + a positive pregnancy test needs checking out.

It may be a hormonal blip but I’d make an appt with your GP for tomorrow. In the meantime, if you start getting serious pains call 111.
