Just curious. We always have bubble and squeak with left over Turkey and roast ham. I wondered how common that is. I thought everyone had that but maybe not.

Leftovers..mainly filet of beef, fried and the trimmings. This year we had it with some cheese croquette potatoes

Yesterday we had leftover beef pulled apart and roasted with sliced pickled onions and some sort of chilli sauce. We also had the rest of the mushroom wellington, some roast roots, mashed potatoes and some sprouts fried in honey, Marmite and butter. Today we went to Subway.

A plate of leftovers! I love a random leftover surprise sandwich / toastie.

We always have cold meats and bubble!!
Had it tonight as well, actually!
Cold turkey, cold ham and cold sliced beef - delicious!
Thank heaven for frozen mash!

Walkacrossthesand · 27/12/2019 23:31

Christmas dinner soup - stock from turkey carcass stripped & pressure cooked, sliced potatoes fried with onion, leftover veg (cook enough to ensure leftovers) and shredded turkey meat, then simmer all together and blend. Delish.

Cold turkey, warm stuffing balls and pigs in blankets with pickles and salad on Boxing Day.

Hairy Bikers Bang Bang Turkey on the 27th

Have made a lovely stock to use later in the week.

No turkey for the rest of the year 😊
