Put a hoody in for a quick wash.. 20mins. Came out drenched. Tried my drain spin cycle 20 mins. Didnt spin once. Hoody still drenched.

Now put on short wash to try again

Have you checked the filter , it could need unblocking

cjt110 · 27/12/2019 14:01

Sorry.. it is draining.. just not spinning. Could it be because theres only 1 item in?

Check the filter. Mine stopped spinning and we cleared a blockage out the filter. Don't know why that fixed it but worth a try

Is the filter at the bottom in the little "cat flap"?

Is it turning the drum to wash? If not it could be the belt.

paw1977 · 27/12/2019 14:13

Yes, but a towel down as there will be water in there too. Twist it , and pull it out and there be something in there

YouTube your make and model.

I had to do it last week with mine. Such fun.

Its filling with water, turning and the water is disappearing. Its making a low... very low speed effort to spin i think. Maybe a safety feature. Will try the filter when this cycle has done then put a small load in and see what happens.

Its an integrated POS bosch lol

Filter was clean. A little residue but nothing appearing to block it. Impellor turning.

Have chucked some towels in to see if it was the lack of weight/distribution as the manual says if theres uneven distribution it does a slow spin for safety

Mine wouldn't spin when the load was too low... i put a pair of jeans that weren't quite dry into the drum and it spun with no problem 😊

cjt110 · 27/12/2019 14:52

Washer now spinning 👍

When it's done pull off the connector under the sink just to check it isn't blocked but yes it was probably because it couldn't detect just one item.
