My closest friend and I have been friends for the best part of 13 years. This past year I’ve felt a shift but with being busy with my business and her with hers, I think it’s been masked over with just lack of time. Don’t get me wrong we’ve never been in each other’s pockets, but definitely always been there for each other. We’ve always met up and had a great time but things have definitely changed.
It’s got to the point that I’m barely getting a text back. I know there’s social media posts so there’s time for a quick response. There was no typical Christmas message or reply to what I sent, we were due to meet up before Christmas but didn’t, as I didn’t hear anything, then got a message to say they’re free this weekend for us to get together. I’ve messaged to finalise plans as I have family/friends I’m also meeting and heard nothing.
Any advice is welcomed! There’s been no fall out or disagreements, last time we met up it was great. I’m unsure on how to approach this with her, as obviously there’s something happening.
