Tell me about your DH

My DH is absolutely perfect. I have known this forever but it always seems to me amplified around this time of year.
He is so thoughtful, puts me first, looks after me and I genuinely adore every single thing about him.
Sometimes I feel a bit pathetic about it, he's my only friend and my favourite person on the planet.

Tell me why you love your DH, or little things you notice more this time of year!

I could've written your post exactly word for word but used the word fiancé instead of husband.

So nothing to add really other than agreement / ability to relate. I feel so lucky especially having gone through so much before I met him.

Thanks for wanting to spread the love! Smile

Forgot to add - The only thing I'd differ with you on is my fiancé is second favourite person on the planet - ds will always be number one!

Specifically at this time of year, his incredible talent for wrapping things so beautifully. He does all the wrapping and it looks stunning.
He’s also brilliant at decorating the house. I just help with him with what he needs (passing him wine Grin)
He’s helpful around the kitchen, even though he struggles with cooking, he’ll do the cleaning up and prepping veg etc.

MrsGrindah · 26/12/2019 19:43

Puts up with my family.
Does things I know he doesn’t want to do but never complains.
Puts up with my whinging.
He’s very clever and always knows the right thing to say or do in a tricky situation.
Is completely incapable of shutting doors or cupboards!

Sexnotgender · 26/12/2019 19:51

@mrsgrindah I think you might be married to my husband Grin

He’s amazing! The best man I’ve ever met but shut the bastard door man.

OccasionalNachos · 26/12/2019 19:54

He’s a really great guy, but certainly not the only good thing in my life. I’d be fine without him, but forever grateful that we met, if that makes sense?

positiviteaplease · 26/12/2019 19:55

@firstimemamma aww see that may happen for us in a few years hopefully so I wonder whether he will also become my second fav!

It's so lovely hearing about all the little details people love and appreciate.

@OccasionalNachos completely understand you there. Before we met I was very independent and completely fine on my own, therefore I know if it came down to it I would be again, but I just think he's amazing!
It's comforting knowing you don't NEED them but they add to your life.
