Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix - can I do anything more interesting than bog-standard chocolate cake with it?

I have acquired several boxes of Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix. I don't use box mixes to make cakes. I was wondering whether anyone had any clever uses for making anything else for them? Brownies? Some sort of bar? My teenagers take packed lunches every day, so anything bar-shaped would be good. Iced cupcakes are too messy to shove in a school bag really.

Probably today's most random, trivial and irrelevant thread, but I don't really want to just bin four boxes of cake mix...

You can make fairy cake type cakes with them, keep an eye on them when they’re cooking to know when they are done. You could also make cake jars with them, just cut up cake and put some icing in a jar, keeps it fresh and it will travel. The cake mixes make moist cakes so you should be fine.
