Fully realise this is not earth shattering news but...
Lovely DH presented me this morning with a big glass jar of 'Coco' body creme. Exactly what I was hoping for after dropping many unsubtle hints!
Opened the pot took a sniff and realised it wasn't Coco. Looked closely at box and realised it was 'Coco Noir'. Whilst I don't mind the scent I wouldn't have chosen it and at £75 am a bit disappointed.
DH is upset; he said he specifically asked for original 'Coco' as he knows there are different versions but as the box packaging is so similar ('Noir' just in tiny script under 'Coco') that he didn't even notice when the sales assistant put it in the bag.
My question is are Boots likely to exchange it? DH still has the receipt but as I took a whiff (although no cellophane on box) will they refuse?
Slightly suspicious that they sold him 'Noir' hoping he wouldn't notice, as stocks on the original were really low (he had a bit of nightmare tracking it down.
