To think I'm too intolerant for a relationship

I fear i am
Every relationship I've wanted to escape. I don't want to hear the ins and out of someone's life or be involved in another family. I find it too much like hard work

I'm too intolerant to be in the (20 yr) relationship I'm in. If we ever split up, I'm never sharing anything with anyone ever again.

My brother isn't built for relationships. At least he knows.

I'm exactly the same OP. I don't want to cater to someone else's emotional needs. I don't want to compromise on anything in my life. It's why I've chosen to be single.

I'd love another child but i know any relationship would break down

It took me until I was 49/50 for it to eventually dawn on me that I didn't need to be with someone. Even more so, that I could eventually be comfortable and happy living my own life. So many years wasted.
