Help me find this show... It's driving me mad!

TLDR: Can anyone remember a Cluedo/ Police Procedural/ reality/ audience solve it TV from around 10 years ago?!

I've been googling British crime show etc and far too many options come up, so I thought it was a good time to try the powers of MN.

The show I'm sure exists I think was on in the early to mid 2000s. It was a crime sort of reality show where the mystery meant the audience and participants (?) could participate in solving it. It was a crime involving someone having gone missing or been killed.

The evidence would be revealed in stages such as a plot twist around a boyfriend or something. As you can tell, I can only remember it in stages, and what's frustrating is I am sure I saw an episode of it come up on youtube.

The reason I want to find it is I have a bed bound friend at the moment who I'm sure would like the programme - if I can find it, or even remember the name and convince myself I have not gone mad!

I appreciate there is almost nothing to go on.

I remember one, set over a few weeks in a small village, run by an ex detective and participants bumped off at the end of each episode in a "in the dark maze game" that was good!

The actual Cluedo Game Show upthread which was filmed at Arley Hall was on in and around 1990. That's the only one I can think of.
