Does anyone else live with somebody with a pathological inability to open containers fully? For example lifting the foil top off the milk but not removing it properly and then it drips. Or opening the top of a box of tissues but not removing the cardboard bit. Same for butter in a plastic tub and leaving the foil top on it.

DH once opened a packet of oven chips, didn't seal it again properly and then put it back in the freezer upside down.
When I went to lift it out all the chips fell out the hole.

“ Don't you use the foil/paper on top of the butter for greasing?”

More than once?!

I leave the foil on top of the butter until I need it to butter a dish or tray for baking.

DD (19) is incapable of putting an empty milk or juice bottle in the recycling. She puts them back in the fridge, I find it empty when I try and make myself a cup of tea Angry

DS is unable to keep track of socks. Every now and then he'll have a strop that he's got no socks (this is why I fill a large gift bag with socks for each of them every Christmas), then he'll find fifteen pairs kicked under his bed Angry
