Induced due to reduced movements?

Anyone got induced due to reduced movements even if the scans and the monitoring was fine? I’m 39+2 and I went in once, but I’m getting ready to go again now because I really tried everything and the baby’s movements haven’t been the same. I still feel her but the kicks aren’t as often or as strong, and when I went and explained it to them they just said that it shows that she’s moving and my 36w scan was fine so there’s no reason to worry about it.
I spoke to my midwife and she told me to keep going to them and tell them about it and maybe suggest them inducing me since I’m 5 days away from my due date anyway, but I don’t know if they’ll listen to me if everything looks ok? I know the monitoring says that my baby’s moving fine but I’m really not comfortable not feeling her and I’ve been hearing so many bad stories that I’m just really scared now and I’d rather her be out than in 😔

@slipperywhensparticus did you ask for it or did they offer it? Also how many times did you go in before you had the sweep? x

Hi OP, I'm 36 weeks and have been in 3 times for reduced movements with this pregnancy. Spoke to a consultant registrar today who wants to induce by around 39 weeks with daily monitoring from now until then, and obviously induction will be moved up if there are any problems.

Like you, each time I've been in baby has been absolutely fine and has starrd moving well after a while. They are still taking my concerns seriously though and have agreed with me when I expressed anxiety at going over my due date. Good luck Flowers

I went in about three or four times for reduced movements a lot of it was stress my partners ex was going ballistic about me being pregnant and called the police s lot which stressed me out and he would stop moving midwife at check said let's see if we can do a bit of a sweep get things moving and it worked!

With the full induction it was just reduced movements no reason for it I was spending lot of time in the nurses bay so they said we will induce you
