Gingerbread House Kit

Has anyone seen any gingerbread house kits in the supermarkets?

Dd3 wants to build one. Tried Tesco and Morrison’s... no luck.

I have most shops available other than Waitrose.

Thank you...

There were loads in my local Morrisons - £4 near the bakery... Kept the kids quit for a good 2 hours building and decorating it

Have you thought about making your own. Lots of recipes and templates on line. Ours turned out well last year.

WhenTwoBecomeThree · 22/12/2019 16:15

We bought one from Wilkinsons, it's a decent one and the gingerbread tastes good too! Think it was on offer from £10 to £7.50

Yep we got one in Morrison's last week. Going to put it together tomorrow

RandomMess · 22/12/2019 16:19

Marks and spencer yesterday £5 but not many left (unless the shelf busts needed restocking).

Christmas Percy Pigs reduces to £1 a pack btw Grin

We got ours in Aldi...already made but kit included to decorate it

MoonlightBonnet · 22/12/2019 16:26

Our closest M and S has loads left.

Lakeland has some.

Unfortunately no Wilko but I’ll try M&S tomorrow

Definitely none in our Morrison’s ...!

lots in my local sainsburys

Badtasteflump · 22/12/2019 17:05

Ours was from Ikea - only about £3 but looks really nice (not tasted it yet though 😊)

lostlalaloopsy · 22/12/2019 17:07

I always get one out of Lidls, we just built in fact! Hope you get one

user485479 · 26/12/2019 02:13

Don't get the Waitrose one, the green icing in it smells and tastes horrible.

TinklyLittleLaugh · 26/12/2019 02:20

We designed our own template, made our own gingerbread (complete with boiled sweet windows) then built and decorated it.

Was a bit of a wonky old shack to be honest, but tasted very nice.
