Defrosting turkey question 🤔

My frozz turkey says it needs up to 63 hours to defrost in t’fridge. I want to take it out of the fridge Xmas morning to get up to room temp before I start dressing it and faffing.

I do t want to leave it too close and risk it still being frozen in the morning so my question is, if I take it out now to start defrosting, will anything bad happen if it’s sat in the fridge fully defrosted for a few/several hours before prepping it? Will I kill everyone?

Really should be no issue. I mean Asda had fresh turkeys from the 19th in our store. Which presumably are going to sit in Asda's // new owner's fridge until Christmas Day.

I'm aiming for mine to be just about defrosted by Christmas eve evening, so I can do most of the prep then and have less faff on Christmas day with just shoving things in and out the oven.

I took mine out of the freezer and into the fridge this morning. I’m expecting to have to take it out of the fridge Xmas eve at some point to get it fully defrosted and then back in the fridge until it goes in the oven.
