I’m glad the crowd are supporting her but booing her opponents is a bit shameful I think.

We were watching in a sports club without the volume so couldn't hear that. Agree it is so wrong as it was against the German last night. Mustn't let it detract from her achievement though

I love the darts and Christmas isn't Christmas without the worlds! Fallon has done really well, she played really well and managed to knock out the 11th seed. They were saying just getting to the last 32 will earn her £25k which is more than she has ever earnt in the BDO. She is so timid and humble. I hope she manages to get to the the last 16 but I like Chris Dobey so I'm split on who I'd like to win!

I watched it tonight and thought at one point she had lost it when the competitor came back and was averaging more.

But what a fantastic achievement, she looked beyond stunned at winning. I’m over the moon for her, she’s doing so so much good for women in sport. A great ambassador and I hope she goes all the way now!

She's doing brilliantly.
I've seen a lot of men complaining about the booing her opponents have had (and it was the same for Suzuki's opponent in the last round) but that's now part and parcel of the PDC - didn't see any complaining about the boos that Gerwyn Price has had for the last few years. She won because she hit her finishers with accuracy throughout the match.
If money is put into the women's game and they are able to practice and train to the same extent as the men then there is no reason why women can't compete and win on the (current) men's circuit.

Fallon uncertainly had the crowd behind her and her opponent was very gracious. Go girl!
