Has anyone read Simone Biles autobiography?

I'm just about to gift it to an 11 year old gymnast who loves reading and is at a very high standard, but my DH just pointed out that she suffered abuse at the hands of her coach, does anyone know if this is detailed in the book?

Bumping this for you as I have a 12 year old who is a gymnast and a big fan of Simone but I've held off buying the book for the same reason!

It wouldn't necessarily stop me buying the book but I could prepare for any questions.

I've been wanting to get it for my son so I've read a lot of reviews and many of them say they let their children read it. No mention of anything relating to the abuse. A few reviews state that it is a positive book that focuses on all the good points of her life and career.

Common Sense Media suggests 13+

Parents need to know that Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles' memoir Courage to Soar: A Body in Motion, A Life in Balance takes on a few tough topics, including body image, ADHD, dealing with a drug-addicted parent, foster care, adoption, the death of a grandparent, and the high-stress world of competitive gymnastics. There's a racial incident and a small fight between kids in which no one gets hurt.
