What are you getting your DH for Christmas?

I need some ideas!

Preferably no more than £100 and payable by PayPal - this is where I have my funds and cannot transfer them! Oh, and quick delivery as I cannot leave the house? Tall order I know! Blush

I did give him a gift experience for fathers day but he hasn't used it :(

I got mine a Fitbit and an amazon echo dot (great deals on these at the minute!) plus some little bits like aftershave and slippers. Anything electronic/gadgety normally goes down well in our household but I guess it depends on what your DH is in to.

kittlesticks · 21/12/2019 21:03

I got my DH some pjs from gap. Gosh that sounds dull. But he wanted nice pjs and the kids have to come first.

SecretNutellaFix · 21/12/2019 21:10

Mine is having an Xbox one game- the latest Star Wars one, and he has a beer gift pack with glass.

A bandana so he thinks he's covering his no hair. And all of the rent, bills, food, wine and fags for the next year - like every year.

He's a lucky man.

IFartGlitterAndTinsel · 21/12/2019 21:29

I've got my dh some pyjamas, dressing gown & slippers, a 2 night away glamping and some aftershave and clothes

GrapefruitGin · 21/12/2019 21:46

A new coat
Bath bomb
Shower speaker (he loves to star in his own sold out world tour every time he’s in the shower!)
A phone case
Socks
Sweets
A football quiz card game
T-shirt
Pyjamas

JaJoJe · 22/12/2019 12:08

Trainers - mine always wants new trainers (as do his friends).

I'm getting him a roomba as the main present (I'm worried though as it feels hit or miss buying a house item but then I always panic about him not liking things).

Then just things like T-shirt, aftershave and beer, I find the men I know tend to like really practical/useful things.

insancerre · 22/12/2019 12:23

A customised steampunk top hat
A limited edition Cure calendar
Some herbal sachets to help him sleep
They are his surprises
His main present which he chose already was a vintage style motorbike jacket and a half face crash helmet with goggles

BarbedBloom · 22/12/2019 12:35

I have bought mine a Samsung smartwatch, some jeans, pants and socks, a poker set, a belt, some t shirts from qwertee and some DS games.

lastqueenofscotland · 22/12/2019 12:39

If he likes craft beer Cloudwater and DEYA are arguably the best UK craft beers. Cloudwater have a mad good online shop too

lastqueenofscotland · 22/12/2019 12:39

But to answer your question some new trainers and a t shirt

winterbluues · 22/12/2019 12:44

DH is getting a new travel mug, a beard shaver thing, a cookbook, some socks with DDs face on, a shirt and some chocolates. He likes a mix of something silly and something practical. We tend to give each other lists and get some off the list and some that we think the other will like.

happypotamus · 22/12/2019 12:47

DH and I are not getting each other anything but am looking for inspiration as it is his birthday in Jan. DC are getting him new shoes to wear for climbing. He is going out now to buy them.
Someone mentioned a pants and socks subscription. Where do you get that? DH is always complaining that he can't find any of his pants/ socks. A regular delivery of new ones would be great for him!

Trewser · 22/12/2019 12:48

A pair of pj bottoms. We aren't doing gifts really.

BearSoFair · 22/12/2019 12:49

I've got mine hot sauce (yearly thing we do to try and find one that even he admits is hot!), Ben Stokes autobiography and bamboo socks.

Trewser · 22/12/2019 12:49

A customised steampunk top hat

What an amazing present!

isseywith4vampirecats · 22/12/2019 12:55

if amazon dosent accept paypal you could transfer the mo9ney from paypal to your own account and use a debit card the money is in your bank in about 3 hours on average, I bought my Oh tickets to see hawkwind a couple of weeks ago as he is so hard to buy for he has everything he needs or wants but does like live music gigs, already booked for his birthday next year for Joe Bonamassa, and Whitesnake he gets two next year because its his 65th

NaomiFromMilkShake · 22/12/2019 12:57

DH is getting some Jaffa cakes, a pair of socks that say on the bottom if you can read this bring me beer, (DS is also getting them, and I have wine ones)

Dh is also getting a new jeans belt.

He is not expecting a bottle of whisky.

Cragganmore 2005 (bottled 2017) Port Wood Finish - Distillers Edition (70cl, 40%)(2 Reviews)

Cragganmore 2005-2017

Cragganmore's Distillers Edition series welcomes another delicious vintage! This 2005 vintage was finished in Port pipes for greater clarity and depth in its fruity, sweet notes. Bottled in 2017 at a smooth 40% ABV, there's plenty of room for those flavours to breathe, making this beauty well worth a try...

I bought it from the whisky exchange and paid for next day Fed Ex delivery.

Personally I can take or leave whisky as opposed to whiskey, but hey ho it will keep him happy.

NaomiFromMilkShake · 22/12/2019 12:57

Sorry meant to add they took paypal

Bellasblankexpression · 22/12/2019 13:00

An Xbox game
A deluxe gin tasting kit
A coffee of the world set with lots of different fancy beans
A belt that he wanted

GalactiCat · 22/12/2019 13:04

Tickets to the football on 28th. It's a home game. I just bought online and printed out and put into a card.

ladybee28 · 22/12/2019 13:04

OP - give us some more to work with - what is your DP like?

What does he enjoy?

What's his personality?

No point other people telling you what they got their DHs - they're not married to yours Grin

insancerre · 22/12/2019 14:39

Thank you @Trewser
Hope he likes it
My daughters friend made it

What are you getting your DH for Christmas?
MinkowskisButterfly · 22/12/2019 15:20

Prime still has two days for delivery and you can pay by prime.

I got DH a couple of books on wood turning and whittling, some chisels and pop rivet tool. Quite specific as that is what he is into (I failed miserably on his bday present a couple of months ago so asked for ideas this time!)

What sort of things is your DH into?

lilgreen · 22/12/2019 15:23

Got mine a Ralph Lauren jumper. He’d said he’d like a jumper(any make) in a certain colour and I found it online with big discount from £125 to £87. He’ll love it.
