Amazon experts - help with accounts

So DS has access to my Amazon account as we have Amazon prime and he has it on his phone for music and films.

He just asked me about a book that I got as it came up as a notification on his phone. Luckily he didn't read further as it has some of his presents on there.

How do I set it up so he has Amazon Prime on his phone but can't get the notifications etc?

Have I set the accounts up wrong?

Does he have an Amazon account himself? He needs one and then you can share your prime benefits with him.

Slightly different info for UK Amazon customers here. No teen accounts. I know this because we've just set DD up with her own Amazon account for her new Kindle Fire so I've had to do a load of research. Still not sure I fully understand it but there you go!

Sorry I didn't even check if that was UK info. I'm in the UK though and dh shares his prime benefits with me so that's how I knew you could do it

You can turn Amazon notifications on his device.
