Waitrose essential sensitive soap

Does anyone use the Waitrose Essential sensitive fragrance-free soap? I'm convinced they've changed their ingredients, but I contacted Waitrose and they insisted they haven't. But mine smell of something perfumey. Maybe I bought a faulty batch? I can't work out what's going on. I HATE perfume of any kind and I find it so difficult to get basic products sometimes.

We’ve just finished a pack but I don’t recall thinking it was more scented than usual. I wouldn’t have been ‘looking out’ for it though but I could be wrong!

Maybe it’s a bad batch like you say. A mix up with the other range (chamomile?)?

Sorry no help for you, but I've experienced similar from Waitrose. A few years ago I bought some of their sensitive fragrance free talc and I could immediately smell a fragrance that it had never had before. I emailed them and they checked the details and assured me it was definitely fragrance free. My nose begged to differ!

I sympathise, I really hate strongly perfumed products. Dr Bronner does a plain soap.

Weird. Maybe there's something going on in their factory.

In fact I bought three packets at the same time and only just got through the first one. I'm going to assume they were all from the same batch. Wondering if I should risk opening the second pack or if I should give them to a food bank.
