DCs were up at the crack of dawn, predictably. They're now watching Harry Potter in their pjs with a snacky breakfast.

Very quiet day planned as they only broke up yesterday. Totally exhausted. Late afternoon I'm taking DS to a small local theatre to watch a show. DD might go out on her bike with DH.

I'm not going near any shops until after the festivities. Ocado delivery came yesterday. Any last minute bits will be grabbed by DH from the local Co op or Tesco.

I'll potter around doing the last bit of wrapping and some washing, but not much else today! Lazy days are the best.

We’re are visiting dps family today for lunch. But first I need to get a load of washing done, make soup, pop out to local shop, and finish my wrapping!
I finished work yesterday and now have a week off so I’m planning a combination of prep and going out until the big day.

Dh is at work today, I’ve just got up and I’m still waiting for the dc to wake up (5yo has now been asleep for 14 hours!), she has her swimming lesson at 10.30am. I need to clean the house as it’s a shit tip. Dh is taking the 5yo to his mums this afternoon whilst I have to go into town to take the two older dds to the opticians and try and find a Christmas present for dh - I bought everyone else’s ages ago but forgot about him. Oops!

Dh and I were meant to go for a night out with friends tonight but I’m not in the mood so I’ll stay in with the dc and watch Christmas films and he’s going for a couple of hours. I can’t wait to sit and relax in my pjs with the fire on all cosy tonight.

DP and DS are going out in a minute for breakfast and bowling.

I'm going to wrap the few things left, a bit of cleaning and finding recipes for DS' baking marathon. Babysitting 7 month old DN this afternoon so baby squishiness

A chilled one to celebrate the fact school and work are now finished.

Tomorrow we've got our first Christmas Day with in laws and cousins so will be a fun but manic one.

I'm currently having a long bath while DH and DC are playing Minecraft.

Once I'm up and dressed I'm going to wrap the last of the presents I've not yet done.

Still need to do the food shop at some point. Maybe tonight.

I've ordered 3 books to read over Christmas and I really hope they arrive today. Haven't read a book in ages.

I’m about to nip out to buy some new curtains for a bedroom and some new bedding. Been sorting and deep cleaning the house and realised some rooms look a bit shabby.

Also need new cushion inners for dog’s hard baskets.

Then just pottering doing washing and some tidying and maybe some wrapping.

Also need to do some sorting etc in DS’s bedroom. He’s 18 so will be helping! It’s gotten a bit out of control.

Slightly hungover from work party at the moment. Contemplating some housework. Then need to pack as we're going away early on Monday and we're at a drinks party tomorrow. Wrapping presents (better buy some wraapping paper...). Popping round to drop MIL's presents off once I'm sober enough to drive! Quiet night in

My first day off work, DC's are off school / uni until the 2nd, so today:
DS - does the food shop and otherwise tries not do do much of anything
DD - tries to find the NDN Hermes has delivered DS's present to and will do the cooking and has homework for uni to do.
I will do the dishes (dishwasher can't be used until the plumbing problem is dealt with), hoover and dust, make sure the outside spaces are looking better - and then I'll try a book binding method I've seen on sealemon.
DH is still with his mother. She's getting better and her little sister - only 90 - did not die but was moved to a care home and has perked up sounding normal on the telphone and enjoying a beer again - which is great!!

I’m having drinks with travellers.
OH brought them back last night, and they’re lovely people.

Cleaning house from top to bottom in preparation for guest tomorrow. DH and DS x 2 going to see Star Wars this afternoon then to sis-in-laws for a takeaway😀😀

I am putting various lotions and potions on in the hope that it will magically make smooth, shiny and acne free. DD’s are watching iPads and playing on phones, might have a wander out later to deliver some cards. Depends on who fancies getting dressed!

Having MIL and DD’s boyfriend round for a mini Christmas at lunchtime. Did lots of prep yesterday so quite relaxed about it. I’ve a couple of presents still to wrap and then late afternoon I’m off to my parents to help sort their house out before my family and my brothers’ families descend for Christmas!

Pyjama morning for me and kids. DH out all day. Dog walk and deliver cards this afternoon. Possibly bake / garden centre. Perfect. Busy one tomorrow and have a party tonight so trying to relax as much as possible.

Getting ready for Hanukkah! DH has gone to synagogue and I've stayed home to MN get the house sorted. Going to London tomorrow for First Night, so need to pack as well.

DCs are driving me mad already barging around. I've got DH up, finally and instructed him to make us all lunch and take them to the park. Fresh air and exercise needed!
