Can you help get Poppy home?

Poppy’s family desperately want her home for Christmas. There’re young children in the family who don’t want presents from Santa, just their beloved dog back. This family are doing all they can (with the help of the local community) but so far there’s been no luck.

This morning it suddenly occurred to me that maybe Mumsnet could work some magic. So please, has anyone seen her? Has anyone you know bought, or has been bought, a new dog for Christmas?

Please help Poppy get home for Christmas.

Thank you all. She’s not been found yet, although two terrier type dogs were found which gave us hope for a fraction of time, but neither were Poppy sadly.

This is heartbreaking, your friends are living dog owners worst nightmare I’m praying that Poppy is found soon.

It’s been on doglost for a while, also rescue centres, dog wardens, Facebook, and more.

You could try to get a celeb like Jason Manford to share/retweet. Ricky Gervais is a huge animal lover as well.

Hi books. Thank you. Still no news, although the local radio station, and the local news channel, have done pieces on it. Still hoping that she comes home. Hope you had a great Christmas!
