What’s the best fanfic you’ve ever read? I need something to read.

Not Christmassy, but Pottery (Hermione & Draco) and romantic - in a grown-up, beating hearts kind of way. Also long, but so, so worth it..

If you're a slash fan try some Mystrade stuff (Mycroft Holmes/ Insp Lestrade from BBC Sherlock). Mottlemoth's stuff is particularly good - find it on AO3.

@mynameiswah - that is my favourite too! You'll have to read that one now...

This one is an absolute cracker too, Pride and Prejudice fanfiction with an original take on soul mates (i.e. not a shortcut to the smut). Plenty of the latter if you're looking for it too, but this one is on par with published fiction.
