A close friend of mine is having a baby and I need the best Jellycat toy. I'm toying between giraffe, monkey, elephant and dinosaur although I love fox and the dog Blush

So which ones do you have and which do you love Xmas Smile

Bunny (brown, White / grey) all the way. Least likely to be discontinued and make replacing a lost favourite toy actually possible.

LabiaMinoraPissusFlapus · 20/12/2019 17:20

Well I have asked for the Jellycat Avocado or Emu for Christmas!

OldGrinch · 20/12/2019 17:25

We have 70 Jellycats! My DD has been collecting them since she was 6. I love the fact that you can get families, ie Big, medium and Small. It's really hard to name a favourite as they are all lovely but I adore the Cyril Sloth he's absolutely gorgeous Xmas Smile

OldGrinch · 20/12/2019 17:27

PS I would go for the Fox, we have the whole family down to the tiny "poppet" fox.

bananaskinsnomnom · 20/12/2019 17:30

Might just state I recently bought a my friends new baby the Jelly Cat Fried Egg.....and the toast.....

Then bought my best friend the croissant.....

BikeRunSki · 20/12/2019 17:30

DS has got a Jellycat Slackajack Monkey that he got as a baby, and is still on his bed at 11 years old!! He’s also got a Cordy Roy pig, but Monkey Angus* is his first love.

*people from near Hartlepool might get this pun.

bananaskinsnomnom · 20/12/2019 17:30

Secretly want the whole crate of food ones for Christmas.....

Candleabra · 20/12/2019 17:30

We love jellycats too. We have the big bear, small dog and the small old English sheepdog.

I'd get the dog for a new baby. But they're all lovely xx

AwkwardAsAllGetout · 20/12/2019 17:31

Dd is 8 months old and loves her Dumble sloth so much, whereas the bunny and koala are ignored. I think the sloth is quite nice as he has long limbs to move and sits up by himself. I dread her losing it

parrotonmyshoulder · 20/12/2019 17:32

Cactus, octopus and dinosaur are my favourites.

WheresTheEvidence · 20/12/2019 18:44

Dog is cute especially as the dad is a sheep farmer so they have lots of collies Xmas Grin

Sloth is very cool. I also adore the ostriches Xmas Grin

Have you seen Chloe Clam? Very sweet!

DC has the starfish but we call it Heidi as it's excellent for hiding behind when watching scary television Grin

KondoKonvert · 20/12/2019 18:48

Big fans in this house. My favourite is the penguin!

snowtigerballs · 20/12/2019 18:52

I still have my jelly cat toys! (Bat and little dog both discontinued now) my DD has adopted them, plus she has the frog, which is definitely my favourite

mynameiscalypso · 20/12/2019 18:54

We got hundreds (okay, 9) when DS was born. We got four bunnies and two of the octopuses plus some other random ones. The only one DS likes is a small blue bunny on a ring that rattles. He bloody loves that bunny. NB he is only 4 months so may come to appreciate the rest of the menagerie when he's older.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 20/12/2019 18:56

Storm Octopus! Dc5(2) has it & adores it Grin

TheClausSeason · 20/12/2019 18:56

Mine likes the dinosaur.

WreckTangled · 20/12/2019 18:57

Ds' favourite is Livvi leopard. He's 7 and has quite a few. We love them!

meow1989 · 20/12/2019 18:57

Second the octopus - we have the little one that ds has in his cot (18 months) and it's nice textures.

TFSRM · 20/12/2019 18:58

I think your problem is restricting yourself to one... buy them all!!! Grin

TFSRM · 20/12/2019 18:59

In our household the giraffe is the most popular

user1471477474 · 20/12/2019 19:00

Definitely the penguin

WobblyLondoner · 20/12/2019 19:00

We have a gorilla that was given to my son when he was born. Fantastically expressive face! Smile

Minnie747 · 20/12/2019 19:00

Oh yes! Elephant, bunnies, ballerina bunny, tiny monkey, fluffy key rings. Really love the croissant.. he’s on the Xmas list!

Toddlerteaplease · 20/12/2019 19:02

My sisters fiancé buys her jelly cat toys. I'm so jealous!
