It’ll be fine I’m sure. Just sniff it and check that it’s not separating.
Btw I usually make I use within a week and I’m still here.

WhoCaresWins01 · 20/12/2019 14:15

If you opened it on Wednesday afternoon you should finish it before Saturday afternoon. It has only been open for 2 days!!!!

Greenglassteacup · 20/12/2019 14:15

What’s the worst that can happen realistically here?

LIZS · 20/12/2019 14:16

It's fine

EduCated · 20/12/2019 14:17

You’ll see and taste if it’s off - it’ll go sour or split. Even if it has, drinking it wouldn’t hurt, would just taste grim.

AdalbertWaffling · 20/12/2019 14:26

  1. Within three days from opening would be saturday afternoon so you're definitely fine

  2. Don't put too much stock on use by/best before dates - they're only there to cover the manufacturers backs, they are not a set in stone date and always err well on the side of caution. If it looks fine, smells fine, tastes fine, then it's fine (even if it's 1/2/3 days past its "best before"/"use within X timeframe")Smile

Thanks, just phoned midwife but lady on phone wouldn't let me speak to a midwife and said it was not a pregnancy matter! Just said to be more careful with food dates but just made me feel worse :(

Jesus Christ op. It's fine. You'd taste it if not. In the nicest possible way, get a bloody grip!

OldEvilOwl · 20/12/2019 14:59

It's fine, I wouldn't give it a second thought. Are you always this anxious?

Missanxietyandstress · 20/12/2019 15:02

I'm pregnant, usually I wouldn't worry about such a thing..

Op, in the most gentle way possible, you need to speak to your midwife about treatment for antenatal anxiety. This is not normal lovely.

Missanxietyandstress · 20/12/2019 15:11

I am already in touch with the pre mental health team.. but yes, it's extreme the anxiety and it's exhausting! :(

I had extreme anxiety in my first pregnancy and I know how utterly exhausting and distressing it is. The situation with the smoothie was exactly the kind of every day thing that set my panicking off. If it makes you feel better, when dc was born I was still a anxious but no where near as bad as the pregnancy and I didn’t develop pnd. Keep talking to people, get fresh air and distract yourself.
Have some Flowers a decaf Brew and a ((hug))
