We have a shortlist of places we are thinking of travelling to in February for a weekend break.

Can anyone help us reduce our list?

What would you preference be out of-

Riga
Tallinn
Ljubljana
Vilnius

Or anyone else you would suggest instead?

Not sure I can help because I want to go to all those places Grin

Go alphabetically? Ljubljana first, then plan for the rest when you can.

We went to Vilnius in October and loved it! Haven't been to any of the others on your list though.

I'd like to go to all of them! I've been to Tallinn, you could potentially combine that with Helsinki which is what we did.

Krakow could also be an option - will be cold though.

Reykjavik!

ivykaty44 · 20/12/2019 12:47

You want cold?

I agree with @blauelaugune.
I would go to Tallinn and from there you can take a ferry to Helsinki

Tallin, it’s so pretty!

Went to ljubljana in summer. It was lovely but would be much more interesting when bars and restaurants are full of locals not tourists. Check if the castle etc are open in winter.

I've been to Riga, Vilnius and Ljubljana, all in February. They're all lovely but be aware it will be very cold. It was -18 during the day in Riga and -28 at night!!
