Baby not sleeping in cot

Hi

My baby girl is 9 months old and slept in a cot from 5 months as she was too big for her mises basket. Initially she slept through with no issues but the last month or so she is waking through the night, she is constantly on the move in her sleep as though she is never in a deep sleep then she is rolling into or banging herself on the side of the cot and waking up restless.

I'm concerned she isnt getting enough deep sleep with all the movement but also upsetting herself and possibly hurting herself in the process. I have cot bumper on and trying to make the room as peaceful and as comfortable as possible but I csmt help that think she just is not comfortable in her cot anymore. She sleeps soundly anywhere else and it doesnt have to be by my side either so j dont think it's anything to do with wanting mummy or daddy

Has anyone else had the same issue where baby is not comfortable or doesnt like their cot?

Thanks in advance

With you say she sleeps soundly anywhere else - where? Also, cot bumpers are bad things.

Well, DS used to spend half the night pulling himself up and trying to walk around the cot. It’s just how babies are.

If you’re worried about comfort, you could get a new, really good mattress.

Please take the bumper off.

How is she during the day? Does she seem over-tired?

DS was always a wriggler. We moved him from a cot to a double bed when he was 12 months old and he still wriggled everywhere.
