Cleaners - is this a thing?

My cleaner takes out things I’ve loaded in to the dishwasher, washes them by hand, dries them and puts them away. I have no idea why she would do this - it’s the whole point of a dishwasher. Is this a thing?

Why are some of you leaving used items out for the cleaner to pick up and clean? That's fucking slovenly. Cleaners clean, not tidy up your mess.

@OlaEliza
It depends on the arrangement with the cleaner! Our dishwasher is usually waiting to be emptied when she arrives-and so any breakfast things are in the sink, and occasionally there might be a water glass or two by the bed. Our cleaner empties the dishwasher and washes those items up. Very occasionally there might be a pan soaking from the night before and she’ll do this too.
We pay for 3hrs, if we leave more washing up it reduces the cleaning time so not in our interest to do so-but our cleaner isn’t bothered, washing up is easier work than the rest of it.

Ola - plenty of cleaners tidy up mess. Many like doing it cos there's a sense of satisfaction in turning a hovel into a show home!

Of couse it's not a thing. Ask her not to do it again as she is in effect wasting the money you are paying her.
