Christmas in the sun

Any other mumsnetters in a warm country. Where are you? Do you have the Christmas feeling? I just cannot get into it or feel a thing just feels like run of the mill days.

I’m on a Spanish island where Christmas is celebrated but not in any big way. Feels great actually to be away from it all

The sea in NZ was absolutely baltic.

Well, yes, it is, um, a tad bracing. . .

I was stunned when we were in LA, at how warm the sea was.

LA might have warm seas but it's not a patch on NZ, the price of that gorgeous blue glacial water is high but worth it.

We've gone from shorts and t-shirts in late spring to scarf and gloves before now (also South Island).
