Sleep masks

I am torn with this.
My daughter is turning 6 a few days after Christmas. For her birthday and the only thing she has mentioned is an eye mask for sleeping.
There are some aimed at children, but are they safe? I really want to get her what she wants, but there is a niggle in the back of my mind saying 'elastic around neck, fabric over face is asking for trouble.

Do any of your children use them? Do you disagree with them? Are they ok?

Polite bump on a boring topic

Don’t some of them come with Velcro fasteners?
They aren’t likely to move much as the elastic holds them in place, they wouldn’t get past your nose.

I've got a fab one that has a velcro fastening, and padded bits for my eyes so it feels so comfy. I wouldn't be too worried about a child using it. It's just off amazon.

I get mine from Flying Tiger. The elastic has velcro at the back so it would come undone. I wear them every night and have given one to my 8 Yr old but he doesn't wear it often.

My DC like wearing them and I think it helps them fall asleep really quickly! I love them too!

Brilliant, thank you so much! I had no idea you could get velcro!
I think DD is going to get one for her bday then. She never asks for anything so when she does ask I always want to get if.

Time to search Amazon.
Thank you

DD has one from Flying Tiger too with the velcro fastening, I think she was about 6 when I got it for her (mine is from there too and I can't sleep without it!)
