What are these ‘spots’.... (picture attached)

Does anyone have any idea what these are?
They are not itchy.
I have them over my torso/back and breasts but nowhere else.
Slightly dry/scaly to touch.

They look awful! These are the ones just on my shoulder area.

Looks like something both my teens have had.

You are very fair. Have you never had this blotchiness before? Could it be eczema?

We never noticed the herald patch that link mentions but both had a widespread rash over their chest and back. One cleared up in a week or so but my other teen has had it for 3 weeks now. No temperature. No itching. Looks awful though.
