I'm not having a great day.

I was expecting a delivery and just now the can came down the street with the radio on and as he delivered my groceries wine the delivery driver sang, "You to me are everything..." it really cheered me up.

My boyfriend

Every time my toddler calls me mummy. He's fairly new to talking and saying mummy is very new, and even if he's saying it because he wants to whinge at me just hearing it cheers me up as it sounds so sweet.

We've been in touch for 3 months after not speaking for 26 years. Sunday morning he text me to simply ask me who'd won Strictly. After an emotional 3 months of getting to know each other the normality of his text made me smile out loud

A weekend in Brighton - it's filthy, expensive and full of the kind of people the Daily Mail warns its readers about. Right now, it's paradise.

Walking my little dog around the 'posh' estate across the road tonight (we're from the 'council' side 😁) and seeing all the outside decorations, and just watching her trot along looking so happy to be out and with me was lovely.

These are lovely, such simple things.

DS (3.5) is often unintentionally hilarious. We watched some eagles try to catch salmon on a nature documentary last night, did he worry about the poor fish? Nope "mummy, can we make salmon fishcakes?"

Finishing my last night shift of 4, getting into my bed for a snooze, knowing I can get up have a long soak with badedas, wine and lovely take away food.

I’m getting my dentures today (hopefully).
I had all but 2 taken out over 4 weeks .
I’ve been too embarrassed to go anywhere or talk to anyone for 2 months so I’m strangely excited to go to the dentist this morning .
My cat brings so much happiness into mine and DDs lives. He’s a delightful little shit.
