Up and working

Can anybody give me some advice please.

I separated from my children's father in September and I've had to claim universal credit. I'm looking to work 16 hours in January as I really want to get back on my feet as I think it will help with my depression.
A job has just come up for January, it's a lunchtime supervisor job working 11:30-1:15 min-fri £9 ph. I've just inquired about the job and it's only until Feb but it might carry on and they won't know until September.
Does this sound like a job worth taking? I know it's not 16hrs and I'll have to look for something else to make up the rest of the hrs but it's just what I'm looking for? I'm not sure if it's worth messing up uc for something that could only last a month.

Jesus I've fucked this up. Up there is suppose to say UC.
And they won't know until February not September. Stupid auto correct!
