Christmas temp work!?!?

Just left my current job (were made too due to contract reasons) for another job starting in Early Jan. Just desperate for some cash over the next three weeks. I'm willing to work on Christmas Day even. Whenever. But I cannot find a thing anywhere. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on where I can pick some work up? I'm willing to do anything. But cannot find a thing free that's just Christmas temp work. Or isn't so,e recruitment thing? Anyone got any advice at all?? Or know of anything? I live in London btw. Thanks

Find pubs or restaurants that are willing to pay cash in hand and are open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day I can't think of anywhere else that won't need to or be able to take up references/checks at such short notice.

Are you open to anything? Pubs,bars, cafes etc?

Think most retailers will have recruited now but might be worth a try.

Post office?

Pot washing in pubs/restaurants.

Try through an agency you might get some warehouse work.

A temp agency will rush through references etc if they have an assignment for you. I'm doing temp Xmas retail work at the moment and half of the people I started with have left!
