How does a washer / dryer work?

I know dryers have them condenser box or it ends up going outside but what about washer/dryer? I have moved into a house and I am struggling to wonder where the condensation is going when I use the dryer mode?!

I have a washer dryer and the condensation goes down the water pipe the same as the way the washing machine drains.

The water is condensed the same but goes down the waste as Coop said.

Thank you! That's good to know :) At the bottom there's a drawer, I opened it and saw something you twist and pull out..what would that be? Cannot try and take it out ATM because it is still on.

That is the filter.Don't try to clean it out without towels down ,as it can be full of water.Speaking from grim experience!
