Papercraft glue craft knife books?

Can anyone help me identify this. When I was young, maybe 25 years ago, I had a series of craft books that had templates that you cut out with a craft knife and glued various bits to each other. Often it made large matchbox type sliding boxes, with a scene inside - like a theatre stage, or dolls house. I've tried googling but either my search terms are off, or they don't make things like this anymore. I'm not imagining it am I? Did anyone else share this particular joy (I LOVED them).

Thanks @daisychicken They look great in themselves and might meet a bit of my paper crafting need, but aren't quite the thing.

You're looking for kirigami. My dad took it up when he broke his leg and was house bound - he made a nodding penguin and all sorts of toys to combat the boredom!
