I'm early 50s, so to say I've left it late is an understatement Grin
This is my first test and I'm so desperate to pass, it will literally be life changing for me and I'm worried that the enormity of it all is what's going to make me so nervous that I'll fail.
I think I'm a good driver, I'm generally calm and my instructor says I drive with care and make good decisions. My down fall is big roundabouts, my head just seems to explode when I see all the road markings and I'm notorious for messing them up. My parking can be a bit sketchy too....
I need tips, inspiration, hope, anything from you all!!!

I failed my first time.
Second time the examiner who failed me sat in the back examining the new examiner! So I had two examiners in the car...and 10 minutes in it began to snow like feck...I passed that time though.
Good luck to you.

Did you pass?!

Thank you Pavlova.

It's just after 9:30, I'm getting picked up about 8:50 so I'm stressing as have to get the kids to school and nursery before he gets here. Mornings are stressful enough
as it is so I'm in bed now and plan to get up earlier to make sure I'm not rushing about! I could have got my mum to help with the school run but I really don't want anyone to know I'm sitting it so just praying my morning runs smoothly and I'm not stressed by the time I get picked up!

@Newcatmum Well? ...

Newcatmum · 18/12/2019 20:44

I failed again Sad. 1 serious fault 3 minor faults. Gutted as the serious fault (approaching junctions too fast) was something I failed on last time (2 serious 2 minors) and I've been really working on it. Had 2 almost perfect lessons Monday and yesterday and then this morning before my test. By the end of the test I was a wreck my leg was literally bouncing on the clutch I'm dreading the next one Sad.

How did it go @velocitygirl7?

I've got my 5th test tomorrow - booked on a whim but I've sort of got to the stage of not caring anymore.. it's disheartening but it's not a once in a lifetime thing so try not to put too much pressure on yourself.
