Anyone else just not in a Christmassy mood?

Had an event that yesterday, that took a lot of planning and time, so hadn't really had any time to get sorted for Christmas.
We've then sadly lost a member of dhs family, and we have the funeral on Friday.
Luckily, we have the dcs mostly sorted, but for the rest of it, I just can't get into the right frame of mind to get everything.
Anyone else?

Hate Christmas. Always have, would quite happily ignore the whole thing but the rest of my family think otherwise.

Roll on 1st Jan and a fresh new year with increasing daylight!

Entitled clients all suddenly wanting their projects done by the end of the year.

People acting like fucking animals in the post office.

People springing random whip-rounds. Yes I am happy to give the office cleaner a fiver. No I am not going to give her £20.

No I don't want overpriced chocolates from my boss. I'd rather have the cash.

Hope every one starts feeling a bit festive soon

I’m struggling this year. Last week my one year old had a hideous virus so was unwell all week, I barely slept as a result. This week I have throat pain, I don’t think it’s tonsillitis but I’m in a lot of pain counting down the minutes till my next dose of painkillers Sad. Can’t seem to find the Christmas spirit as yet!

Me. It's weird my df died last year and yet I felt much more christmassy. This year I'm just really struggling to get motivated. I've bought food and drink, am taking the kids to their christmas parties and stuff but just not feeling it myself.

My mother is in hospital having tests for suspected cancer. We've been assured it won't be aggressive at her age but am still in a knot about it. Have no interest in putting up decorations and haven't sent any cards.

Christmas can be a lovely time when all is going well in your life. But when you're having a rough patch it can feel very difficult.

@Misscromwellrocks hope your dm is OK.
We said our goodbyes yesterday, and I was expecting to wake this morning feeling a bit more festive. No such luck, I just want it all over with now, but will be merry for the dcs

Me. Although I'm feeling rather self indulgent after reading what everyone else has put.

I've been ill since last Sunday. Not badly, feverish cold as far as I can tell. It's just left me very tired and feeling very low.
I'm not sure if the low feeling is just the end of the illness or more, but it isn't like me.

Dh has been off this week, and has done a lot of stuff. Unfortunately not what I would have done.
So we have no Christmas decorations up other than the outside lights which I did before I was ill. The parcels for relatives haven't been posted. No wrapping has been done. The Christmas cake hasn't been made (he does the puddings, I do the cake, and he has done the puddings) and the house is a mess.
I can't even see where to start if I'd the energy.
