So this is odd right?

So I feel a bit strange saying this but for a long while now when I first wake up and I remember for example I have just dreamt about a bus for example I will then randomly remember at least snippets from 8 or 9 different other dreams I have had going back over the years about buses!!! it isnt always buses by the wayGrin its whatever I dreamt about that night
This is odd right?
Lately ie over last couple of years this can happen in middle of the day as well I might think about for example a swimming pool then I begin to remember snippets of lots of different dreams I have ever had about swimming poolsShock
What is going on here? I am hoping this may happen to someone else or am I just very odd
I do have a very good long term memory I guess but even so!!!

I remember lots from my dreams. I don't think it's odd. It's also coming to have your own set of dream themes.

Yes! I will suddenly, out of nowhere, remember a dream, or bits of a dream from years ago. I don't even have the memory jog of a similar dream.

I sometimes remember snippets of dreams but I know it's something I dreamed months or years ago.

Honesty, i think when it comes to dreams all bets are off. They are weird and what you remember when even weirder.

Yes they are recurring dreams. Sometimes they are the same, but more often they are similar dreams over many nights.

no they are not recurring dreams as they are all different . So they might have the same topic ie a caravan or a tree etc but they are all completely different and flash into my mind one after the other usually on waking up from the dream with the same object or situation in it. Some I know go back years and yearsShock

Me too. It's usually when I'm waking up and, before last nights dream has fully faded, random snippets of previous nights' (unconnected) dreams pop into my head.

Yes, I can wake and remember my dream and it triggers memories of similar dreams going back years. Once I'm out of bed though the memory goes and I can't recall any dream. Often wonder if I just laid there how much I could access of these dreams before they disappeared.

Yes sounds exactly like me. Recently though has also been happening at random times in the daytime, not every day though

Glad I'm not the only one was beginning to feel quite weird!!

Bizarrely can also remember the layout of various peoples houses going back years and where the furniture was and what furniture was whereShock
