Naming a child with pregnancy hormones

When I was pregnant I really, really, liked the name Stoven, I was convinced it was original and a funky twist on Steven Confused

I also really wanted to name a girl Spencer.

Now luckily, DH smiled along at my suggestions and we settled on a very normal name for our DC.

But, after having a conversation with a few friends one who wanted to name her DD Jypsy-Rose (spelt like that!) am I unreasonable to think that naming a child with the pregnancy hormones is bloody hard?

Did you have some crazy names you wanted to use?

It was DH who suggested stupid names when I was pregnant. They were actual names, but ridiculous for where we live.
