Board game suggestions

I'm in need of recommendations of a board game for my 7 year old DS. He loves board games and has a good few, he particularly loves Frustration/ Don't Say It/ Toilet Trouble/The Snowman Game/ Going on a Bear Hunt game/ snakes and ladders. He has adhd and doesn't have the attention span for Pictionary/ Cluedo etc ( we have those as he has older siblings).

I have been in the toy shops looking for inspiration but there are so many and I don't know what many of them are like.

Any recommendations are gratefully received. TIA.

5 Second Rule. It's so funny and great for all ages Grin

Thank you- we have that one which we love , but he's not that into it.

There is a child’s version of cluedo where you have to find out who ate the cake which is a lot quicker than actual cluedo.

Other suggestions include Dobble and we have a game called Rapido which is a play-doh modelling version of Pictionary which might suit him better than drawing.

Mine is getting the family version of Trivial Pursuit, as he loves trivia and general knowledge questions.

Bugs in the kitchen is fun and fast moving (only 2 player though so we take turns to play the winner)

Guess who?

happytimesarecoming · 15/12/2019 19:16

Guess who is great!

Mine love UNO and other card games

PoptartPoptart · 15/12/2019 19:26

UNO is a firm favourite here as well as Jenga.

Happy Salmon is brilliant

Sushi Go is another good game

Guess Who is great, our version has a card with animals on which is surprisingly hard. Although I do get vaguely irritated every time I play it because of how few women are on the people card!!

Snoopdogsbitch · 15/12/2019 20:18

Thanks all- I was out facing the shops! We have Guess Who and Jenga which he likes, and Uno and Dobble to a lesser degree. I'll look into Rapido, Bugs in the kitchen, Happy Salmon and Sushi Go. Thank you all so much. MN to the rescue once again.

MAIDEN ditto with the women thing! We have an animal version from Tiger and it's the same!
