In amongst Christmas and the Election I've started looking at holidays for next August and have run out of ideas.
These are my criteria and I appreciate it's a big ask but I'm desperate for some inspiration.
- Must have separate rooms so that me/DH have a room and DC another - ideally with a shared entrance (so not 2x rooms along a corridor). We all like having some space and hate being crammed in one room for a fortnight.
- Europe - we like the heat. Turkey, Croatia, Spain, Portugal are all high on the list.
- Opportunity to 'fly and flop' but also some options for day trips/excursions. Ideal would have a small town within walking distance.
- All inclusive but with choices of restaurant. Happy to pay supplements for a couple of nights
- Ideally good sports facilities - tennis, water sports, pool/table tennis for DC. Spa/gym/fitness classes would be a bonus.
- Don't want a 'Holiday Village' with lots of entertainment , mini disco, kids club.
