I'm about the return an item I ordered from a catalogue company (Grattan) and it has got me thinking about how they deal with the, what must be hundreds, of returns every day.
The bag the top was in is now ripped. All I've put into the returns bag is a little slip of paper. It amazes me that they are able to match up the returns to each person's account.
I've had things sent to me reeking of smoke so they have definitely been sent out to someone before. Is everything rebagged?
Does anyone work in a catalogue returns place and can tell me what it is like?
