Zapain sickness

I've been prescribed Zapain for my back as I pulled it badly yesterday while lifting a buggy! Was on all fours for 20 mins as I couldnt get up. The doctor has prescribed Zapain and I've just been sick and started shaking. Has anyone else had this side effect with this drug? I just hope its coincidence because I need to take them I'm in work tomorrow! Sad

They contain codeine and nausea is a common side effect. Always take with food. Call the pharmacist or doctor and see if you can reduce the dosage.

Zapain are really strong. How many are you taking? I've also been prescribed Zapain and have difficulty staying awake after a couple. I've never had nausea or shaking though. Are you normally OK with codeine?

I take them fairly regularly. The first few times they made me feel a bit woozy, as if I've had a couple of drinks, now I don't get any side effects. It varies from person to person though.

Hi,I am taking Zapain every day and have done for about 10 years now.At first they made me feel very sick and sleepy but that soon passes after a few days.

Yes I normally take co codamol for migraines and I feel fine after taking them. I took 6 yesterday in 12 hours, I'm going to have some food this morning with them and hopefully I'll feel OK as I'm in work at 12
