School bag for DD sixth form

Suggestions please? The one she has is a big handbag from New Look and the corners are beginning to look scruffy. What could I get her for Christmas to replace it?

Backpack would probably be best due to the amount of stuff she’ll be carrying! Best contenders would be plain eastpak/kanken if she likes that kind of thing. Or for a more “fashion” option - Matt & Nat, Oliver Bonas and John Lewis all have nice black leather /suede backpacks at the moment

Don’t get a backpack as that is not the in thing.... all girls use stupid handbags!

Year 7-11 use hand bags but the 6th formers in our college don't seem to as much. They seem to get all the more casual after they leave school.

She uses a small backpack handbag at weekends, but over the shoulder type big handbags are the thing for school it seems. The present one is pvc tan coloured so I think I will look for something similar in leather?

Same in my school - every sixth former tends to have a backpack as they have textbooks and folders (which lower years don't)

All the girls in our sixth form have hand bags, try TK Maxx they often have some nice ones, River Island bags are quite nice but may not be big enough, if you're looking for more designer Michael Kors have a great sale on at the mo on their bags.

Honestly I would let her choose her own and then wrap it up for Christmas. My DD would most definitely not be impressed at me choosing her school bag in sixth form!

All backpacks here. Fajaraven, Eastpak, John Lewis leather one, pretty green and topshop!

Kanken is luckily the bag of choice at dd’s school - was amazed how comfy it is
