I have a real tree. Problem is it doesn't smell! Where can I get a nice scent (oil or spray) that smells genuine?

Well I wouldn't spray the tree itself, but pine or cedarwood essential oils have a lovely christmassy scent.

I hang Scentsicles Winter Fir sticks round the back of my plastic tree, smells lovely!

Borrow a dog. It can wee on the tree and then it will smell totally natural.

I've just bought a Glade Frosted Pine candle. I haven't lit it yet, but the wax smells good.

I've got a Yankee Candle 'The Perfect Tree' large candle (£14.99, special offer on Amazon) for the 2nd year running - the only thing I've found that actually smells like a tree and not pine disinfectant. The big one lasts well through Christmas and beyond, even when burning all day :)

I got the fir tree decorations from
White company with the spray. Smells lovely

Frasier Fir by Woodwick candles. It’s beautiful.

Pine scented loo cleaner or similar?

dudsville · 14/12/2019 18:02

My tree always smells of stale water from the unused reservoir... grrr. I like the idea of essential oils!

Nonnymum · 14/12/2019 18:03

John Lewis sell some decoration like scented sticks that you hang on the tree they smell of pine and are fairly natural.

Gizlotsmum · 14/12/2019 18:08

I have scenticles and although not a real tree smell it is lovely.
