Stocking fillers?!

Please help
Every year DH and I do a stocking for each other.. along side our gift... we dont spend much money through the year only the essentials, we save and work really hard, we really like to show our appreciation for each other at christmas,
this year I have bought him some new scuba diving equipment, which he has no idea about... I've stashed it in my neighbours house 🤣 he will be so excited as he has said early in the year after a dive he needs new fins and a BCD eventually immediately bought them, then saved for a new dive computer and wetsuit.

Our stocking is just a small one not too expensive but every year we stick to a few of the same things ..
• a book we have each been after,
• some socks,
•fave chocolate for him, and some fancy fudge for me.
• and a token/keep sake.. nice card/keying something cute and cheap

Then we usually have 3-5 surprises in there, I'm stuck for inspiration this year.. I've done so many themes over the years off the top of my head I have done naughty, foodie, boozy, prank, nerdy, gadget, romantic, practical, sports,

This year I have no idea what to put in their my gran always gets us pjs so we never bother with them, he had new jeans and boots for his birthday in September, we both had a new phone last christmas. Laptop and tablet are fine only a couple of years old and still mint. He has a watch for day time, a dress watch, a work/messing about watch he literally has everything he either wants or needs so I'm stumped..... any ideas are gratefully accepted !! Please I beg you inspire me..

For dh stocking this year I got:
Bath salt bomb
A mug with a cat that resembles ours
Candy cane
salted caramel M&ms
Hot choc sachet
Mens face mask
A pack of pink peppercorns (He loves cooking- last year I think I got a tiny jar of saffron threads)

Pugsleyaddams · 13/12/2019 20:30

A phone case with your face on
A mug with your face on
A new glass for his favourite booze with your face on
A tablet case (maybe with your face on)
Or just ones without your face on.
What does he do? Have a long drive/ train commute? Manual or outdoor work? Use the gym? Gaming?

Wow some great ideas!!! Thanks!!!

He has a ps4 but plays it maybe twice a year he loves to dive... (talk about stating the obvious considering the gift I have got him 🤣🤣) erm he loves Jujitsu and mua thai.. he works on his or my car if they need it... has all sort of crap for fixing them.. shed full of tools and fixer upper things.

@Pugsleyaddams I see a theme with your ideas 🤣🤣

@flatpack1 what the hell is a tile mate?

@fussygalore118 I think getting him cocktail stuff may be selfish..... I LOVE COCKTAILS!!! 🤣🤣

Cheese knives is actually random but good he loves cheese and we often have a plate together of an evening

If he likes cheese there are 100s of cheese gifts on sites such as NotontheHighStreet. Cheese knives, slates, posters, chutneys...

I quite like the 'Scratch-Off-100-Cheese-Bucket-List'-poster. Grin

I've got mine a credit card sized tool for a few pounds on Amazon.

You can use it to measure something, open a bottle cap, open a letter, wind your headphones around it etc.Just multifunctional and small enough to go in the wallet.

Back2Bali · 14/12/2019 07:56

I've seen them before but ever known anyone to have or buy one I think they look pretty cool
