Beaver camp weekend before Christmas?

My son wants to attend a camp with the beavers the weekend Before Christmas.. (indoors) Most of the others are going.

AIBU that I think it’s too close to Christmas and we should be spending time as a family to let him go?

On top of that, he asked to come come home last week and they refused.

What would you do?

I'd let him go, my ds loved going on his beaver camping trips. He moved upto cubs this year and had to miss his last session and sleep over this week as he was sick and he was devastated. Let him have a little time with his friends you'll have him at home for the next 2 weeks to have lots of family time.

I'd let him go.
Give me time to get all the stuff done I can't do when DCs are here and it's good for them to have a bit of fun with their friends.

Personally I don't know how the leaders have the energy to run a camp just before Christmas! I'd let him go and enjoy the time to get ready.

Make sure you book your Santa visit ASAP. Most of the best Santa experiences get booked up weeks ahead.
