Year old leg of lamb in deep freeze- yay or nay?

Bought 2 legs of lamb last Christmas and chucked them in the deep freeze. Ate one and never got around to the other one. It'll still be good for this Christmas right? I'm not 100% certain but am pretty sure that they were already frozen when I bought them. Fully sealed and wrapped etc.

Will it taste as good as lamb should?

I would, it'll be fine.

Frenchfancy · 13/12/2019 15:37

As long as it is a proper big freezer I would.

Yes it will be fine. I would eat meat frozen for that long, fruit and veg much longer.

God, yeah! I've never took any notice of the X amount of months guidelines. I've got lots of years old stuff in my freezer.

Yep proper chest freezer, lamb is living at the very bottom for the last 12 months.

Happy days then!
