I have my 1st (well only) Christmas do today and I cannot be bothered to go?

Works do, been here a month, kindly invited along with my friend who i work with, yet id rather have a glass of wine at home with the fire lit in my PJs on. Every time I get this feeling and I rarely go out 😂

Meal booked at 5 then local pubs. Sounds lovely but.....

Yeah you'll be fine once you're there. It's the effort of getting ready that's the issue, rather than the event itself.

Just go to the meal and then go home .

Go for the meal, then see how you feel about the drinks after. You could go straight home, you may feel like going for one drink, you may go on to enjoy winemaggedon and roll home at 3am. But in your shoes I'd definitely go for the meal.

There are over 150 going (huge gang) and seeing its Black Friday there will be loads of other people I will know in town.

Well i went, had a nice time (not fab nut nice). Didn’t drink much and was home at 10:30. We split from the main crowd so it was only 4 of us and saw lots of people i knew.
